Ski Butternut's rich skiing history dates back to the 1936-37 season, when two trails were cut by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Rope tow service was also in place at that time. Store hours are: 10 am to 5 p.m in October and November - 6 days a week (closed Thursday). Once the Ski area opens we open the doors 1/2 hour before lifts run and it remains open until 5 pm each day. Mon - Fri non holiday that means 8:30 - 5.
