If your car is a 2018, it has the A8 and not the A10. The latest transmission fluid (Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP, part number 19417577, blue stripe on the bottle and not black) that actually fixes the problem came out in Jan 2019 as part of TSB 18-NA-355, so unless your A8 was flushed with this specific fluid, it can develop the shudder.If you do not get it done by then, you will have to pay for the repair yourself.
