All of my outdoor tools and regular power tools (drill, circ saw, rep saw, and many others) are all 24v. I have about 24 or so kobalt tools and they are all 24v, one platform one battery type. I have about 12 24v batteries in various AH, mostly 4ah, that run all the tools i need for all the projects i dream up. The 24v is a very versatile platform.
