I've tried neighborhood petitions with cable companies (It's worth noting that it's a neighborhood of 70 houses, not exactly rural), tried calling AT&T everyday for like 3 months in a row. Nothing. Til one day late September I see marked locate lines on the sides of the road in my neighborhood.I did find out that I could get a business line by signing up to pay $30k (split over monthly payments) for 2 years of gigabit fiber. With me they buried the lines in front of my house on Jan 25th and I wasn't able to get fiber until May 18th. I have also heard stories of people having it buried and getting service a month or so later.
